Regular check-ups keep every component performing smoothly, giving you a reliable and comfortable cycling experience.

BV Stage One

A service we recommend as an bi/annual service for your trusty steed that’s in regular use.

From £110.00

  • Brake and gear cables checked for wear & damage, then replaced if necessary
  • Gear indexing
  • Brake alignment

  • Headset checked for free movement, tightened & re-greased if necessary

  • Bottom Bracket checked for movement & tightened if necessary

  • Wheels are removed, rims & spokes checked for wear & damage

  • Hubs checked & tightened, wheels trued and spokes tensioned

  • Bolts checked and tightened

  • Tyres checked and inflated to the correct pressure

  • Visual frame and fork check and clean

All prices may vary e.g. if you book a BV Stage Two and all your bike needs is check up and wipe down, we’ll charge you a BV Safety Check and vice versa, we’re cool like that.

BV Stage Two

Our most comprehensive service; Your bike will be lovingly stripped down, greased and rebuilt. The full monty for your machine that’s in constant use and if you want it in top condition. BV Stage Two is BV Stage One Plus:

  • New gear and brake cables and housing

  • Bottom bracket service, chase out threads and re-face the shell

  • Re-face the head tube

  • Headset stripped down and re-greased

  • Hub service (including new bearings)
  • Disc brakes extra for BV Stage 1 & 2
  • Extras Internal cabling/disc brake hose installation + £15 per item
  • Extra Hydraulic bleed + £15 per item

All prices may vary e.g. if you book a BV Stage Two and all your bike needs is check up and wipe down, we’ll charge you a BV Safety Check and vice versa, we’re cool like that.

Basic Service

You’ve bought a bike online or one that’s been in storage. A good idea to have it checked over before taking it for a spin: The service checks that all parts are correctly assembled and adjusted.

  • Check frame & forks visually
  • Check brake alignment
  • Tyres checked and inflated to the correct pressure
